Sitting back, looking at these memories, I remember this day. It was 82 degrees out on a beautiful Wednesday afternoon in September. I felt compelled to take my girls to the park for our last walk before winter. The geese were having a social event. All were tumbling under the water – up-side-down. I had never seen them do that before. Splashing, honking and flapping their wings about! How amazing to watch my children as they embraced this sight. They giggled and pointed and honked right along with the geese! Erupting giggles from me! This was a moment indeed!
Their lives, their growth. What parent doesn’t want to remember their children’s lives? So for some reason, when we are older, we cannot remember. Not because we do not want to, but because we have lost the ability to do so. Our memories will forever be with us. A paperback novel~
